It was guided by two research objectives and two null hypotheses. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design. The population of the study comprised 6,313 staff from selected public and private organizations in Cross River State, specifically University of Calabar and Cross River State Civil Service Commission (public organizations), as well as Lafarge Africa Plc and Airtel Nigeria (private organizations).
