Mfon Eyo holds a PhD in Guidance and Counselling from the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He is an educationist par excellence, an astute administrator and a Service Delivery expert. He joined Airtel, a telecom service provider, as Customer Care/Service Delivery Consultant. He rose to a middle management cadre before leaving voluntarily to join the academia. Presently, Dr Mfon Eyo is a lecturer in the Department of Guidance and Counselling, Faculty of Education, University of Calabar, Nigeria. His research interest spans across cyber counselling, ICT in Education, vulnerable group (women, children/youth and the aged) and higher education. Others are peace and conflict resolution, environmental education and general education. He has, to his credit, a textbook, three book chapters and twenty seven journal articles published in reputable journals. In addition to his core academic responsibilities, Dr Mfon Eyo was also the ICT Coordinator and Chairman of the ICT Committee of the Faculty of Education, University of Calabar, Nigeria from 2014/15 to 2017/18 academic sessions. He was the Managing Editor of Calabar Counsellor from 2016 to 2017; he is presently the Managing Editor of Prestige Journal of Counselling Psychology and Managing Editor of Prestige Journal of Education. He is also a former Secretary of the Cross River State Chapter of Counselling Association of Nigeria (CASSON); he is happily married with children.
