It examines the benefits of the BYOD strategy, its impact on students’ learning outcomes, and the significance of e-assessment over traditional methods. The article also discusses the role of technology in facilitating e-assessment and explores the prospects of the JAMB BYOD strategy, including improved accessibility, cost savings, personalized learning, and enhanced test security. However, it acknowledges challenges such as technological infrastructure, device compatibility, security concerns, and equity issues. The article provides recommendations to address these challenges, emphasizing best practices for successful implementation.
