The population of the study consisted of 7,310 students in 28 public secondary schools in Jalingo Metropolis of Taraba State. The sample of the study was 400 respondents. The instrument used for data collection was a researchers-developed structured questionnaire titled “Students’ Alcohol Use and Academic Adjustment Questionnaire (SAAAQ)”.
